KN (Original): Keto Woozy Boozy Tiramisu-zy

If you look close enough in that picture, our baby, Pup, is peeking his head wanting some yum yum. Tiramisu was my ultimate dessert at any Italian restaurant! My husband proposed putting my ring inside it because he knew I would want one after dinner. I won’t say how he might have been scared I was going to eat the ring hahahah I didn’t!

Tiramisu isn’t Tiramisu without some Brandy or Whiskey. The title of this recipe suggests that it will be boozy, fair warning. With doing Keto, there’s an alternative to anything we might want. Here’s an awesome low carb version for this amazing treat!

(For Bottom Layer aka “Ladyfingers Layer)

~* One Protein Mug Bread https://ketoniannerds.home.blog/2019/02/18/ketonian-nerds-original-protein-mug-bread/

~1/3 cup of strong coffee

~* 1 tablespoon of Whiskey

It takes 2 minutes to make the Protein Mug Bread. Please refer to the recipe linked above. Break up the Protein Mug Bread in a pan. Brew some strong coffee, the stronger the better. Mix 1/3 cup of strong coffee with the 1 tablespoon of Whiskey. Pour over the bread evenly.

(For Cheese Layer)

~* 8 oz cream cheese

~* 1/2 cup of stevia

~* 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder

Put 8 oz of cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl. Nuke it for 1 minute and a half, or until it softens. Pour 1/2 cup of stevia to it and stir until it dissolves into the cream cheese. Put in a piping bag or a zip lock back (you can clip one of the sides to get a piping bag effect.) Refrigerate until the next layer is finished.

(For the Whipped Cream Layer)

~* 1 cup heavy whipping cream

~* 1/3 cup of stevia

~* 1/3 cup of sugar free chocolate chips

Take your 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and pour it into the mixing bowl. You can either use a hand mixer or what I used. Slowly add the 1/3 cup of stevia and gradually turn up the speed of the mixer to medium high until the hard peaks form.

Your Protein Mug Bread has been soaking in the coffee/whiskey mixture and your cheese layer has been chilling in the fridge. Pipe the cheese on top of the soaked Mug Bread Pieces. Sprinkle the one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder on top. Your whipping cream should be ready. Smother all over the top then adorn your beautiful creation with sugar free chocolate chips.

Ok, now here is the recipe again for the visual learners: (shout-out)

Chop up your Protein Mug Bread and soak the pieces in the coffee and whiskey mixture 🙂

Mix your cream cheese with the stevia until there’s no lumpy bumps 🙂 put inside piping bag and chill in the fridge until it is time to pipe.

Make whipping cream

Pipe chilled cream cheese layer and sprinkle unsweetened chocolate powder on top
